Jack and Dylan decided to write songs together, every decision a democracy, and out came the LP ‘Everything Is Boring’. They named the project Cat Scratch, which was suggested by a friend as an example of a terrible band name. Each song was written in one day, and then recorded in one day in a tiny room above a kebab shop. One feels the senses of joy and friendship that litter these songs that explore themes of love, pie, dogs and roses - all through an alternative rock and roll, jangle, singer-songwriter filter. Shelby and George help bring these tunes to life with their furious strumming and careful picking.
